

Dr. Guilford is a Licensed Psychologist in Georgia and Florida and a member
of the American Psychological Association and the Association for the
Treatment of Sexual Abusers. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology
in 1996 from Florida State University after completing her clinical
internship with the Federal Bureau of Prisons at Tallahassee Federal
Correctional Institution with an externship at The Psychiatric Center at
Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. After graduation she worked for Psychology
Associates of Tallahassee as a Fellow in Psychology. She also worked as a
consultant and Chief of Staff with Florida State University at the
Specialized Treatment Program at Arthur G. Dozier School for Boys in
Marianna, Florida. She designed and implemented an Adolescent Sex Offender
treatment program while working with STP. Dr. Guilford started her private
practice in 1998; Capital Psychology Consultants. Dr. Guilford has
supervised graduate students in Social Work and Psychology and taught
undergraduate psychology classes at Florida State University and Tallahassee
Community College. In addition to private practice she is a consulting
psychologist with the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice. She
specializes in psychological evaluations and testing with a specialty in
ADHD evaluations. She has also worked extensively in the area of adolescent
sex offender evaluation and treatment for the prevention of child sexual
abuse.
